About

Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that was established in 2001 in McMinville, Oregon. The museum serves the community through its mission to be a force of curiosity and courage for kids of all ages to gain the confidence to take flight. The museum attracts nearly 150,000 global visitors annually to experience over 150 exhibits like the rare SR-71 Blackbird; the Titan II Space Launch Vehicle, with its original launch room; and the world-famous Hughes Flying Boat, the Spruce Goose. Inspiring the next generation of aviators, astronauts, and innovators is central to the museum’s mission. Approxmiately18,000 K-12 students visit annually to experience hands-on STEAM educational programs. The museum also meticulously restores historically important planes and space vehicles for public display. More than 150 volunteers help the museum provide programs for the community.
