About the Role
The Business Development & Strategic Growth Manager drives revenue growth and diversification for Pioneer Industries by leading sales, marketing, and customer acquisition efforts. This role focuses on building client relationships, generating new business, analyzing markets, and reducing customer concentration risk. It also involves coordinating with internal teams to meet production and delivery goals, overseeing contracts and negotiations, and improving estimating and proposal processes.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and diversification.
- Lead sales, marketing, and customer acquisition efforts.
- Build client relationships and generate new business.
- Analyze markets and reduce customer concentration risk.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet production and delivery goals.
- Oversee contracts and negotiations.
- Improve estimating and proposal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategic Management, Technology, Management, Business Development, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Sales, Operations, or Engineering, including contract development and negotiation.
- Experience supporting or leading pursuits for mid- to large-scale business opportunities.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to meet company-approved driving and insurability requirements.
- Ability to travel approximately 35% domestically, with limited international travel.
- Aerospace industry experience preferred.
